I take the train to work, where the commute time can take between 30mins to an hour. And if I’m not dozing off to sleep, I would be mindlessly scrolling on my phone. Reading physical books started out only as a way to keep me away from screens. An added aspect to this is that I can hold a physical book up to my eye level without the people in front me wondering if I’m taking a photo of them on my phone.
